The last food fraud report for 2019, has just been published and covers the months november and december (someone took some holidays?):
In the last 2 months issues were raised on
- adulterated Spices for colouring or mixed with chemicals (Pakistan)
- false origin and labelling of meat (China)
- lack of traceability of olive oil (Argentina)
- Adulteration of Milk with whey (Colombia)
- wrong identification of 70% of fish sold (Peru)
- lack of traceability and poor hygienic storage of wine (Italy)
- Fraud on food sold in schools (Italy)
- Asian origin of Blue crab sold as “fished in the Atlantic” (USA)
